The bag (singular; so far at least) is packed, the refrigerator is bare apart from champagne, nail polish and a bunch of elderly spring onions (another olfactory no-no; I can’t imagine why I bought them). I travel to Paris tomorrow and will not be available again until next Sunday (16th March). The forecast is rain, rain and more rain, so I shall be sure to take some toys and games to amuse myself; indoor activities will be the order of the day by the look of things! Although bearing in mind the fabulous galleries, cinemas and restaurants as well as the inescapable (for me at least) grands magasins, I’m sure I won’t get bored. I’ve always thought that whilst alfresco entertainment can provide a pleasing diversion, I myself am at definitely at my best when indoors, at least until global warming has become more reliable.
You will pleased to know that whilst I will be swanning around Paris, my trusty mobile phone will be attended by my good friend Lady Carla, who has graciously agreed to play secretary for the week.
